Gotta love BBQ and Steak! Those are two of the three things I could eat daily. Freddie's isn't a new place to me, but I haven't blogged about it yet. This a great restaurant for a great meal. This location is in Sapulpa on New Sapulpa Road. The original started in Drumright, which is still there, over 60 years ago. The steaks and seafood are awesome and that's not including the hors d'ouvers that come with a several of the dinners. Those include, tabouli(this blogger's FAVORITE,) hummus with veggies, cabbage roll(my wife's favorite,) BBQ balogna, and a BBQ rib, not to mention salad and bread. I had the 14oz Ribeye and it is was GREAT! Cooked to perfection with a great flavor. I split that with my wife and she had just hors d'ouvers plate. I would be amiss to forget to mention that they cater and have a big banquet room as well as a bar for your enjoyment!
Now for the reason you read this. Pricewise this is a $$-$$$$(check out my first blog to see the key for that.) I feel that you definitely get your money's worth in both quality and quanity, plus great service. Let me warn you, there will be a wait, but that wait is MORE than worth it. I understand that you can call ahead and get your place in line.
As far as guy friendly, with the bar, this is a place that you could come relax after a day at the office, enjoy a beverage, a great meal, and catch the game on the tv. It is a little more upspace than the "normal" guy sportsbar style hangout, but there is nothing wrong with that. I could for sure hang with the guys and watch Monday Night Football or Big Monday there.
For my date friendly opinion: It can get a little noisy, but I still believe that it is intimate enough that a first date could be enjoyed there or any occassion. Personally, I would save it for the more special occasions, but just my opinion, however still a great date night choice. freddiesbbq.com is their link, go check it out.
